DOCs Virtual Movie Night – What Grace Leaves Behind

Description

Virtual Film Screening & Fireside Chat

Join DNPs of Color (DOCs) in collaboration with Represent Justice for a virtual screening of What Grace Leaves Behind. The film invites us to reflect on the realities women face after incarceration and the importance of reentry support grounded in dignity, relationships, cultural connection, and lived experience. It challenges us to see formerly incarcerated women not simply as recipients of services, but as leaders, experts, and changemakers whose knowledge and lived experience are essential to building stronger reentry systems and community-based solutions. This virtual movie night is an opportunity for the DOCs community to come together around storytelling, reflection, and a deeper understanding of justice, reentry, and community.
