Join DNPs of Color in Atlanta, Georgia, for our 7th Annual Conference, October 14–16, 2027.

Collective Capital recognizes that our greatest power is not simply what we know or accomplish individually—it is what becomes possible when we bring our knowledge, expertise, creativity, relationships, influence, and lived experiences together.

Over three days, DNP-prepared nurses, students, leaders, innovators, educators, clinicians, entrepreneurs, and community partners will gather to learn, connect, create, and mobilize around four dimensions of collective capital:

• Clinical Capital — Advancing practice, outcomes, and the health of the communities we serve.
• Innovation Capital — Transforming ideas, evidence, and imagination into solutions that move nursing and health care forward.
• Influence Capital — Leveraging leadership, scholarship, storytelling, visibility, and our collective voice to shape systems and drive change.
• Community Capital — Building the relationships, networks, partnerships, and shared power necessary for sustainable impact.

The 2027 conference will feature dynamic educational sessions, nationally recognized speakers, and meaningful opportunities for connection, collaboration, and celebration.

• Hats, Heels & Haberdashery Gala — Step out in statement hats, standout heels, and distinguished haberdashery for an evening of celebration, style, and collective excellence.

Scholarships & Award Nominations

DNPs of Color is proud to recognize and support members of our community through conference scholarships and annual awards. Scholarship applications and award nominations will open soon, with opportunities to support conference attendance and recognize individuals making meaningful contributions to nursing, leadership, scholarship, innovation, and community impact.

Please submit requests as early as possible so we can make every reasonable effort to support your participation.

Registration, Payment & Cancellation

Conference registration and gala admission are sold separately. All registration purchases are nonrefundable. Registration transfers may be permitted in accordance with DOC conference policies. Payment plans are available upon request. Member pricing is available to individuals with an active DOC membership at the time of registration. Special registration categories are subject to eligibility requirements. Group registration discounts for five or more attendees may be available upon request. Optional workshops or special activities may require separate registration and additional fees.

Liability & Assumption of Risk

Participation in the DNPs of Color Annual Conference and related activities is voluntary. By registering for and attending the conference, attendees acknowledge and accept the risks ordinarily associated with participation in an in-person event, including travel and conference-related activities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, attendees agree to release and hold harmless DNPs of Color, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and partners from claims arising from participation in the conference, except where liability cannot legally be waived.

Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings, travel arrangements, and any personal expenses not expressly included with registration.

Photography & Recording Notice

Photography, video, and audio recording may occur throughout the DNPs of Color Annual Conference and related events. By registering for and attending the conference, attendees grant DNPs of Color, Inc. permission to photograph, film, and/or record them and to use their image, likeness, and voice in conference-related communications, educational materials, publications, social media, marketing, and promotional materials without compensation.

Attendees with concerns regarding photography or recording should contact info@dnpsofcolor.org before the conference so available options can be discussed.
