A Retired Nursing Professional is a nurse who has concluded active clinical practice or full-time employment in the nursing profession, typically after a long and distinguished career. While no longer practicing, retired nurses continue to contribute through mentorship, community engagement, advocacy, leadership, and preservation of nursing knowledge and history. This membership category honors their legacy, keeps them connected to the profession, and provides opportunities to remain involved in meaningful, non-clinical ways.

This membership honors nurses who have transitioned from active practice but continue to contribute their wisdom, leadership, and legacy to the profession. Retired Professional Members stay connected to the DNPs of Color community through engagement, mentorship, and access to essential programming. Your experience continues to shape and strengthen our collective impact. Dues are nonrefundable.
